Whilst many stereotype a truck service department as a “Mans” world, these two ladies in our Major Motors Malaga branch have their hands full running the bookings, scheduling, quoting and managing of all the incoming and outgoing trucks on a daily basis.

Both girls focus on maintaining the relationship with the customer from the time the vehicle is dropped off right through until they are back to pick up their vehicle, with many updates and questions answered along the way.

“We love coming to work every day. We have the best team down here and our customers are always happy with the service we provide,” Libby says. “Katherine and I work extremely well alongside each other and we both share the same passion for our jobs.”

Katherine and Libby walked into their Service Advisor roles with a little mechanical knowledge, Libby previously being involved with Major Motors for many years, working in Customer Relations and the Parts Department, and Katherine previously working with Toyota and Nissan. In the months they have been here they have worked alongside their amazing Foreman Sukhdev Singh, gaining a wide range of truck knowledge, and learning the ins and outs of a Isuzu engine.

“I’ve already learnt so much the last 6 months I’ve worked for Majors. Both Libby and Singh have dedicated so much time into showing me the Isuzu world. The team is great, the workplace is great and all in all I love my job,” Katherine says.
