After being a valued member of our team for just over 30 years, Gail Buswell, our receptionist at Bibra Lake has moved on to a new venture. 

Gail’s last day with the team was on Thursday May 11th, a few months after registering the 30 year mark in December last year. 

In looking back at her time with Major Motors Gail described it as quite an adventure. 

She started at Majors in 1992 working two days a week as a cleaner. 

From there she took a role in the Service Department working as a Service Advisor before becoming the receptionist at Bibra Lake some six years ago. 

‘I love chatting with people, so taking the role of receptionist was a fabulous job for me. I loved it,‘ she said. 

‘I am really grateful to the company for being so supportive when I was having a tough time,’ she said. 

‘Major Motors is a wonderful place to work – Bob Pearce is a wonderful leader and he has a great team of people there who I’m going to miss terribly.’ 

So what is she up to now? 

Within days of leaving us, she and her husband of 28 years were headed North with a caravanette, Exmouth as the first target and then with no specific destination in mind. 

Bon voyage, Gail – we’ll miss you. You deserve a great retirement as you have been a great member of our team.
