A new Isuzu for the TileKraft company.
From using the services of a logistics company for a considerable number of years to investing in one’s own truck – that’s been the journey to becoming an Isuzu owner for the well-known TileKraft company.
Under the helm of Luke McGuinness, TileKraft is a classic WA success story, having been in business for on 23 years and growing very much in parallel with the growth of Perth.
TileKraft specialises in the supply and installation of floor and wall tiling for commercial and domestic uses.
Whilst the business had its beginnings as an installer, it has grown to now being a major supplier of tiling with a trade centre in Wangara which has been in operation for quite a few years and now a new one, opened in November last year in Malaga.
Luke describes the business as always aiming to create innovative, independent tiling solutions that solve problems for homes, industries, and workspaces, as well as tiling we would like in our own residences, work-spaces, and recreation facilities.
The type of commercial work that the company often undertakes to either install – or supply to other contractors is the high-quality tiling you invariably see in shopping centers – in the malls and walkways and also in many of the shops within the centres.
The business has a team of 15 plus a handful of subcontractors to undertake the considerable amount of installation work that it undertakes for WA’s ever-growing housing and business sectors.
And as for the new truck.
It’s an NLR 45-150 AMT MWB Traypack which Luke says he is delighted with… and is already forecasting that it may not be long before another one is added to the operation.
