Apprenticeship applications are being taken now
For young people interested in trucks – a great opportunity has just arisen as the Malaga branch of Major Motors is now taking applications for its 2023 intake of apprenticeships for Heavy Vehicle Technicians.
The four-year apprenticeship qualifies a person to service and maintain diesel engines and the components of heavy vehicles.
Ideally, an applicant will have an aptitude for practical, hands-on work plus be interested in mechanics and have some computer skills.
Apart from becoming a qualified mechanic, an apprenticeship can lead to becoming a Workshop Manager, a Service Advisor/Manager and is even the ideal training for someone wanting to enter heavy vehicle sales at a later date.
